Alberto G. González Plasencia our Winery's oenologist, a worldwide reference, was chosen second best oenologist in Spain and 10th in the world; he was born in the Canary Islands, to be more exact on the island of La Gomera in 1962, and he took a degree in agricultural engineering at the University of La Laguna and graduated in Oenology from the University of Cordoba, bringing Conatvs his extraordinary and broad knowledge of oenology, along with experience and passion for vines.

His professional path has led him to work for prestigious Wineries such as: Bodegas Timanfaya, Bodegas Rubicón, Bodegas Stratvs, Bodegas Tunte, Bodega La Vegueta, Bodega Tamargada, Bodega El Lomo, Bodega Abadía da Cova, among others.

Bodega Conatvs set its stakes right from the beginning in 2016 on bringing Alberto González into the project, in order to achieve its position as the first Winery with Protected Designation of Origin on Fuerteventura, with organic wines of good quality, always environmentally-friendly.

As a result of the great work of Alberto in the Winery, who understood the heart and soul of Conatvs from the very beginning, we have achieved various quality wines which have received national and international recognition.
